Ross Head Cottage is superbly located at the edge of a traditional fishing village some 10 miles from Malin Head, Ireland's most northerly point in County Donegal.
The cottage itself is located on a miniature peninsula facing South to the most attractive views of the Atlantic Ocean. Visiting the cottage in both summer and winter boasts fantastic views of the sea – in summer, the calm glistening waters attract local fishermen and local boating companies who sail past to visit Malin Head; in winter the rough sea is picturesque, a mass of dancing waves. The locals and the area share a close affinity with the sea, the landscape is rugged and views of Inishtrahull Island and Culdaff Beach are clear from the cottage… on fine days Islands off the West Coast of Scotland are visible.
