"What can I say? This place is so beautiful... so cosy we felt right at home here. The weather was not always as we would have liked it to be but even in the rain and wind this is a place of outstanding beauty. The view was just as we had wished. For hours we could watch the sea, the waves, the change of light and colour, the rainbows over the bay. We explored Inishowen againn and returned to our favourite spots but coming "home" was always a great feeling as well. Ross Head Cottage will always have a special place in our hearts" |

"My journey to Donegal began as pilgrimage to learn a little more about my mother who was born in Carndonagh. Her sister journeyed with us. I found this cottage on the internet and immediately fell in love. The surroundings, the colour, sea and weather were everything I imagined my Irish experience to be. I know more about my mother now, more about where she lived and how she lived. I'm sad to leave this beautiful and evocative place... but I take wonderful memories with me - memories that will last forever." |
